Personal data
Privacy policy
Short version: this page collects nothing about you by itself. The only data that reaches me is what you choose to send by email.

Who the controller is
Stratus Data Analysis Aleksandra Perz, a sole trader registered in the Polish CEIDG register, NIP 7773109323. Contact: hello@stratusdataanalysis.com — I read and answer it myself; there is no team and no helpdesk.
What I process
- What you put in your email — your address, your name, what you tell me about your work and the project, and the correspondence that follows. Exactly as much as you decide to write.
- Server logs — the hosting provider records the IP address, the time, the page requested and the browser type. These appear automatically on any website; I don't use them for analytics and don't combine them with anything else.
- Invoice details — business or personal name, address and tax number, but only if we end up working together.
Why, and on what basis
- To answer you and work out whether I can help — art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps before a contract) and (f) (keeping up correspondence).
- To perform the contract, if we sign one — (b).
- To issue and keep an invoice — (c) (Polish tax and accounting law).
- To keep the page working and secure (logs) — (f).
Who else sees it
- GitLab Inc. — hosts this page. Its servers and logs are outside the EEA (United States); the transfer rests on the standard contractual clauses in GitLab's data processing agreement (art. 46 GDPR). The logs are not made available to me.
- Hostinger International Ltd (Lithuania) — carries mail for stratusdataanalysis.com, which is where your emails to me live.
- My accountant and invoicing system — invoice data only, and only if we work together.
Nobody else. I don't sell data, don't run a newsletter, don't profile and don't do remarketing.
How long
- Correspondence that didn't lead to work — up to a year, then I delete it.
- Documents and correspondence tied to a contract — 5 years from the end of the year the invoice was issued, as Polish tax law requires.
- Server logs — as long as the hosting provider keeps them, which is short.
Cookies and tracking
There are none. This page sets no cookies, has no analytics, no advertising pixels, and loads no fonts or scripts from anyone else's servers. Nothing is stored in your browser.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to correct it, to have it erased, to restrict or object to processing based on legitimate interest, and to receive it in a portable form. Write to hello@stratusdataanalysis.com. If you think I am handling data unlawfully, you can complain to the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, Poland).
Giving me your data is voluntary, but without an email address I have no way to answer.
Changes
If this page ever gains a form, visitor statistics or anything else that records data, I will update this document before that happens, and change the date at the top.
